37 weeks 4 days

I can't wait to see this precious face in person and kiss those cheeks! This ultrasound estimated Caleb's weight at 8 lbs 8 oz. Could be more or less, but let's hope it's a little less if he decides to hang out in my stomach for 2 more weeks. 16 days from today if not sooner!

Lately...

We had a busy August and start to September. Here's a glimpse of what we've be up to:

I turned 28! It was a pretty low key birthday. We celebrated in Swansboro, then on the day of went to Kanki with my brother. Nick gave me these beautiful flowers, it's the only pic that I managed to take.


Caleb's room is DONE! And I sure am glad considering the fact that I all my energy is gone at this point and I'm not as mobile as I used to be.





My Dad retired at the end of the month after 32 with NC State and Cooperative Extension.




We had a baby shower in Swansboro at our church.




We went to the NC State season opener football game. This is a terrible pic of me but I wanted to document Caleb's first tailgate (almost 36 weeks).


Then we had a baby shower at our house for our Raleigh friends and neighbors given by Amanda and Judy.



I'll post albums of these events on facebook. Needless to say, I'm ready for things to slow down as we wait for baby Caleb to arrive. Which I think will be very soon!

Baby showers

We've had 2 showers so far...3 more to go! Our family, friends and co-workers are really spoiling us and baby Caleb but it's such a blessing. Check out facebook for the pics...it's just easier to post them there since blogger and bubble share are being difficult.

Who does he favor?

We're amazed how similar Caleb looks compared to our baby pics. Dana is on the left a 3 days old and Nick is on the right at 2 weeks old.

Baby face at 30 weeks and 2 days

At our appointment yesterday we had another ultrasound because they were a little curious as to how big Caleb and I were measuring up to this point. Turns out we're still 2 weeks ahead and his estimated weight right now is 4.5 lbs. Looks like we've got a big healthy boy! I was excited to get to see him but words cannot describe how I felt when I heard his heartbeat and saw his sweet face. Of course we think he's just adorable but I'll let you see for yourself...







It's still too early to tell if he'll be early or not but they're going to keep monitoring us from here on out. Here's a belly shot at right at 30 weeks.

Lydia Ruth

We went to the hospital to meet the newest Bart on Wed. night. She's so precious and looks like her big brother did when he was born. I see more of Jen in Lydia though. They all are doing well, what a sweet time!






Nick was practicing holding a brand new little one :)

Baby Shower for Amanda and Mia

My college roommate and one of my best friends is expecting a little girl in August. Throwing a shower for her was so much fun, especially with all the pink and green since I'm having a boy.
