baby update: 25 weeks

Well, here we are. Baby boy now has a name too!

Caleb Nicholas Babbs

This picture is actually at 25 1/2 wks, on Sat. we'll be 26 wks. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by. Caleb is an active little fellow on the move all the time. Other than dealing with the heat, heartburn and some swelling, I feel good. We've finished our baby classes at the hospital. Next weekend we're going to paint his room. I'm getting anxious to get everything ready now. Signs of baby are showing up all over the house. We've been enjoying the glider in the living room that I found on craigslist and Nick put the stroller and car seat together last weekend. So fun!
More pics and updates soon once the room starts to come together...

5th anniversary cont.

Here's a peek at the ring Nick gave me...along with a dozen roses. I'm so loved!

We celebrated our anniversary at a Mudcats game. J treated us to seats up in Cattails and a nice meal (indoor restaurant with AC and great view of the field).

He even surprised us with a shout out on the scoreboard.

And ended the night with fireworks!

Our 5th Anniversary!

Then...

And Now...

Where has the time gone? But on the other hand I look back and think, wow, we've accomplished so much in the last 5 years. The Lord has blessed us with so much, first with each other and now with a baby boy on the way. It's overwhelming and exciting and I can't wait to see what each year brings...

I love you so much more today than the day I married you Nick.
Happy Anniversary to us!

We'll miss you...

Most of you know that the Turner's are on their way to Africa within the next few months. Here's a few pics from our time at Pullen Park. As you can tell Taylor loves Nick and he feels the same about her. I can't believe it's time for them to go. They have been such a blessing to us!

The Blooming Tulip

I've been busy this year with weddings and other stationary jobs. New samples have been added to my online portfolio at www.thebloomingtulip.com. Check them out when you get a chance and remember to visit periodically for new designs. I'd love to get your feedback or help you with an upcoming project.

PS-more baby updates and other events coming next week!
