July 4th in Swansboro

Every year Oyster Bay (my neighborhood back home) celebrates the 4th with a festive parade and cookout afterwards. This was our first "experience" because they started this tradition after I went to college. Each year the parade gets bigger and more creative, this year was no exception. Always the talk of the town.

Here's Nick and Tanner waiting for the parade to come around the corner. Tanner was not a fan of the fire truck.

The fire truck was the grand marshal...the first year of the parade, my brother lead the way in his new truck. Guess you've been replaced J, haha.

Mrs. Joan, Mrs. Cristy and Morgan were decked out in the bug!

We thought the Tucker's took 1st place with their "float". Not to mention they're fellow Wolfpackers too!

How cute are these little ones...

Uncle Sam even showed up and walked with the Mayor.

Dad wanted to be in his own parade so he entertained us between laps...

And then when it came around again, he wanted to go the opposite way! What can I say...
